Four changes, compared with the Sept 2026 timetable
Each change uses routes that already exist. None adds a new route or stop. We compare each one with the Sept 2026 timetable, at two times: leaving hospital at 6 pm and at 8:30 pm.
The four changes help different areas
A priority area has a long trip to hospital AND many homes without a car. Only more frequent buses and the Cobblebank site make some areas stop being priority areas.

More frequent buses
One extra bus trip halfway between each pair of existing trips.
The extra trips run on the same bus routes and stop at the same stops. More buses mean shorter waits for some people.

The improvement disappears if you miss one connection
We tested a missed first connection, with a delay of 10 or 20 minutes. Then the improvement drops to 0 areas.

Cobblebank site
The Cobblebank site is tested with the Sept 2026 buses and trains, not a future timetable.
A new hospital is planned at Cobblebank, inside the City of Melton. We move the trip's end point to that site. The buses and trains stay as they are on the Sept 2026 timetable, because no future timetable is public.
